Visual Notes from
Your Event
Are you organizing an event, seminar, important meeting, or workshop and would like to ensure that the content is better remembered after the event?
Bring a visual note-taker to your event and give your participants a lasting visual record of the experience!

Visual Note-Taking at Your Event
The visual note-taker listens carefully during the event and organizes the information into shared visual notes that make it easy to see and understand.

Visual Facilitation
A visual facilitator takes a more active role in the process, guiding participants through activities such as innovation workshops with the help of visual tools.

Visual Notes as a Video
The visual notes created during your event can also be captured on video and edited into an engaging drawing video for use in your communications.

What Is Graphic recording?
See How Live Illustration Works...
Graphic Recording is the real-time process of drawing and transforming spoken information into a clear visual form. It can be used, for example, in meetings, workshops, seminars, and strategy planning. The end result can be described as visual synthesis or drawn notes.
As a visual note-taker, my goal is to support learning by structuring information logically and making it accessible through visuals.
The aim is not only to support memory, but also to create experiences, support the process, and produce content that the client can use afterwards.

My Principles in Graphic Recordings
My aim is to use live illustration to support learning and strengthen shared understanding.
I’m on the Speaker’s Side
I want to represent speakers in a positive and respectful way. Every contribution has something valuable to offer. In workshops, I believe everyone’s voice deserves to be heard — and captured on paper!
I Capture as Much Information as Possible
Simplifying has its place, but I also believe in the value of rich, comprehensive information.
I want to capture the complex content of the whole topic in my drawings, as well as as much of the event’s content and information as possible. The information is filtered through me, but I follow the speaker’s emphasis in my visual notes as well.
Content First — Beauty Is an Added Value
n my visual notes, my first priority is to support learning. I keep this in mind when choosing colours and creating the visual content. My drawings always combine text and imagery. Of course, I also aim for an appealing result that catches the eye and invites people to explore the content itself.
Bringing the Brand into the Visuals
I’m happy to adapt my own style to the brand as much as possible. In live illustrations, I like to use brand colors and characters that can be appropriately and legitimately adapted.
The Visual Is for Everyone
With live illustrations, I grant broad usage rights to the finished image. Participants are welcome to take photos and share them on social media. The client can use the image during and after the event in their own communications, and can even have it printed as posters or cards for employees or customers!

I Turn Ideas into Visuals — Improvising with Pen and Paper or Digitally
My live illustrations are largely improvised. I rarely know in advance what speakers will talk about or what they will choose to emphasize. What I do know, from experience, is how much space I need to capture the content of, for example, a one-hour presentation.
I work with pens on large sheets of paper or digitally on an iPad. From a learning perspective, it is important that people can see the drawing taking shape in real time.
